Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Line Lead to work with a leading manufacturing company in New Albany. This role supports the Production Supervisor in coordinating daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met through effective team guidance, workflow management, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.


Shift Patterns

• Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm

Pay Rates

• 21.50 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Tell me about your experience in a production or manufacturing environment where you supported or led a team. What were your responsibilities?


• Describe a time you had to interpret production schedules, job instructions, or specifications and ensure your team met production goals. How did you manage it?


• Have you ever trained, coached, or rotated employees on a production line to maintain efficiency, safety, and quality? How did you approach that?


• Tell me about a time you had to identify or solve a production issue (quality, downtime, or materials shortage). How did you take to resolve it?

Role

• Review daily production schedules and coordinate staffing needs to ensure coverage.


• Assign, instruct, and rotate team members to maintain optimal workflow and efficiency.


• Ensure machines are properly set up and materials are available to minimize downtime.


• Monitor production lines to ensure all quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.


• Maintain accurate production and timekeeping records while identifying and resolving issues quickly.


• Provide hands-on assistance to team members to keep production running smoothly.


• Train new employees and support ongoing cross-training initiatives.


• Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability on the production floor.
