- 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay rates
- 21.75 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Quality Control Inspector
- Previous experience in food quality control
- Ability to commute to Elwood within 40 minutes
- Proficiency with technology, including tablets and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and accurate counting skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Fluency in English (reading and writing) and basic math skills
Desirable requirements for Quality Control Inspector
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience using industrial scales
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility for overtime hours
Role for Quality Control Inspector
- Perform hourly quality checks using tablets to track data
- Inspect pallets and verify candy quantities for accuracy
- Monitor product quality during start-ups and batch changes
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or product specifications
- Identify, document, and report any defects or inconsistencies
- Assist on the production line when quality control tasks are not required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring safety compliance
