At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in New Albany. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys diagnosing mechanical issues, working with automated equipment, and taking ownership of equipment performance while collaborating closely with production teams.


Shift Patterns

• Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Pay Rates

• 26.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

• Proven experience in maintenance within a production or automated equipment environment.


• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical equipment issues.


• Experience working effectively in a fast-paced production environment.


• Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM documentation.


• Basic computer skills for CMMS usage and math skills for maintenance tasks.


• Strong ability to prioritize multiple repair or maintenance tasks efficiently.


• Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards, including GMP and LOTO procedures.

Role for Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and automated equipment to minimize downtime.


• Diagnose mechanical faults and repair equipment breakdowns using testing equipment.


• Conduct equipment changeovers, washouts, setups, and sanitation as needed.


• Use a CMMS system to create and close work orders, track repairs, and manage parts inventory.


• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency projects to enhance production performance.
