At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to work with a leading logistics and manufacturing partner in Elwood. Shift patterns

• 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:45pm to 7am

Pay rates

• 22.50 USD hourly

Essential requirements for Quality Control Inspector

• Must have prior experience in food quality control


• Must be local or reside within a 40-minute commute of Elwood


• Ability to count accurately and perform basic math


• Proficiency with technology, specifically tablets and data entry


• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending


• Must be able to read and write in English


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Please be prepared to discuss your comfort level with technology and provide an example of how you have used it in a previous work setting

Desirable requirements for Quality Control Inspector

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience


• Prior experience using a scale in a professional setting


• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment


• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset


• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work overtime when needed

Role tasks for Quality Control Inspector

• Perform hourly quality checks and record data using tablets


• Inspect pallets to ensure products meet company quality standards


• Count candies and verify quantities for accuracy


• Monitor product quality during start-ups and batch changes


• Read and interpret basic blueprints or product specifications


• Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies


• Maintain a clean and organized work area


• Assist on the production line when quality control tasks are not required
