At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Signage and Decor Packager to work with a leading company in the design and fabrication sector in Madison Heights. This role supports the production and fulfillment team by ensuring that custom signage and display materials are expertly prepared for shipment.Shift Patterns
- 1st Shift: 9am to 6:30pm Monday - Friday (Overtime available on Saturday during peak season)
- 18.00 USD hourly
- Experience with hand and power tools including power drills, nailers, staplers, and tape guns.
- More than one year of packaging experience with non-steel and non-metal parts.
- 1-2 years of packaging experience outside the automotive industry.
- Ability to read and understand tape measurements accurately.
- Experience in building and constructing boxes for custom signage.
- Ability to properly load and unload trucks for transport.
- Material handling skills for safely moving custom signage without damage.
- Protective wrapping skills to prevent scratches or breakage.
- Prior experience in printing, fulfillment, or general warehouse packaging.
- Ability to follow written instructions and maintain high quality standards.
- Prepare signage, decor pieces, and display materials for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy, finish quality, and labeling.
- Wrap and secure items to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
- Coordinate with production and shipping teams to meet deadlines.
