At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Control Panel Builder to work with a leading industrial equipment manufacturer in Madison Heights. This role involves installing electrical wiring and assembling components in control cabinets according to blueprints and technical diagrams.Shift Patterns
- Day shift hours: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- 25.00 - 27.50 USD hourly
- More than 1 year of professional electrical panel building experience
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, one-lines, panel layouts, and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of wiring fundamentals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated job tenure for more than a year at past employments
- Locate and mount electrical components on control panels, including drilling and tapping holes
- Install breakers, relays, contactors, and bus bars
- Cut, strip, bend, and form wire cables while ensuring correct routing and color coding
- Solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends
- Collaborate with managers or engineers to resolve errors in diagrams or production orders
