Material Handler - Ontario

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Ontario. This role serves as the backbone of warehouse operations, focusing on the efficient movement of inventory, accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a fluid supply chain.


Shift Patterns

• Monday - Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

Pay Rates

• 18.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Material Handler

• Warehouse or material handling experience preferred


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Desirable requirements for Material Handler

• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or RF scanners


• Basic computer or inventory system knowledge


• Strong sense of urgency and eagle-eye attention to detail


• Reliable attendance record

Role for Material Handler

• Locate and pull products from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets or digital handheld scanners


• Move raw materials or finished goods to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines


• Inspect items for damage during the picking process and verify SKU numbers to ensure 100% order accuracy


• Securely pack items into containers, apply shipping labels, and prepare documentation for outbound shipments


• Assist in unloading trucks, verifying packing slips against physical inventory, and stocking shelves
