CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak) - Auburn Hills

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak) to work with a leading manufacturer of welding fixtures in Auburn Hills. This role involves programming and operating Mazak CNC mills for short-run production of specialized fixtures.
Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Friday, 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Pay Rates:

• 30.00 - 37.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak):

• More than 5 years of experience programming and operating Mazak CNC mills
• Ability to read blueprints proficiently
• Ability to program with Mazatrol controls
• Ability to proficiently use measuring instruments such as mics and calipers
• Willingness to take training CNC classes as needed for complex machining

Desirable requirements for CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak):

• Experience with CAD/CAM or CNC lathe

Role for CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak):

• Program and operate Mazak CNC mills for short-run machining (1-10 pieces)
• Machine parts for welding fixtures using mild steel, copper, and aluminum
• Program from prints using Mazatrol controls
