Forklift operator - Fort Worth
IntroAt Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with Shipbob in Fort Worth. This role involves operating a diverse fleet of specialized stand-up equipment including Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, and Cherry Pickers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Shift patterns
- Sunday to Wednesday 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- 19.75 USD hourly
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating Raymond forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting with knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Familiarity with order picking procedures and inventory management systems
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Must provide valid forklift certification during the walkthrough
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in material handling
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors
- Adaptable to working in different departments based on business needs
- Ability to take instruction effectively
- Safely maneuver through narrow aisles to stage, stack, and retrieve palletized loads from high-bay racking systems
- Efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound freight from trailers
- Operate equipment at elevated heights to fulfill case-pick and piece-pick orders accurately
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and maintain data accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards
