At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Trainer - Shipping Department to work with BJ's Wholesale - Elkton in Elkton. You will be working for the client in Elkton.

Shift Patterns

• 1st Shift Monday - Sunday 7:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Rates

• 25.00 USD hourly

Requirements

As a Trainer - Shipping Department you will need to have:

• High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience is a plus
• 2 to 3 years of Warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred.
• Warehouse selection experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Train team members using outlines, handouts, graphs, charts, lecture, hands-on, electronic media, and slides in one-on-one and group settings.
• Demonstrate all procedures being taught.
• Knowledgeable about warehouse safety.

As a Trainer - Shipping Department, it would be desirable to have:

• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to use email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS and other applications.
• Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the member to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math to ensure proper counts and verify pallet ID numbers.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Role of a Trainer - Shipping Department

• Train shipping department team members on all aspects of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
• Develop and deliver training materials using various methods to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure proficiency in all procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
