Requirements

As a Forklift Operator you will need to have:

• Safely transport raw materials, molten metal ladles (if trained), molds, and finished castings throughout the foundry and to shipping areas.
• Load and unload trailers, trucks, and rail cars, often using specialized attachments such as clamps or rotators to secure heavy loads.
• Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanners to log inventory, ensure accurate counts of outgoing products, and update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment (fluid levels, battery charging) and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
