Maintenance Tech - Elkton
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Tech to work with BJ's Wholesale in Elkton. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities. This role involves performing facility maintenance activities, including building, equipment, and grounds upkeep, as well as battery replacement, testing, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.Shift Patterns
- Sunday to Wednesday 5am to 3:30pm
- Sunday to Wednesday 11am to 9:30pm
- Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 9:30pm
- 20.75 USD hourly
- Ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely
- Understand and comply with safety management, EPA and OSHA policies, procedures, and programs
- Understand and use data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete proper and timely preventative maintenance, repairs, and record keeping
- Lift up to 50 lbs to 100 lbs
- Must be able to respond and perform physical demands of weather emergencies
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and pass respirator fit tests
- High school diploma or GED; college coursework or continuing technical education preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred
- Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet business needs
- Able to wear and communicate through headsets for long periods of time
- Perform installation, replacement, and repair of facility equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely paperwork and documentation
- Operate and maintain equipment safely while reporting any unsafe conditions immediately
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and lock out/tag out procedures
- Support sanitation efforts by keeping work areas clean and organized
