At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Fitter/Welder to work with American Steel Construction in Livonia. You will be working for the client in Livonia.

Shift Patterns

• 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, w/ some OT during the week rarely Saturdays.

Pay Rates

• 26.00 USD

Requirements

As a Fitter/Welder you will need to have:

• Can you read blueprints?
• Do you have experience with layout and fitting of mild and structural steel, if so how many years?
• Do you have knowledge of typical tools and machines required to fabricate structural steel?
• Can you operate Shears, punches, Oxy-acetylene torch, overhead crane, mag-drill, etc.?

As a Fitter/Welder, it would be desirable to have:

• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment to join metal parts.
• Inspect and test welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in the workplace.
