Material Handler - Romeoville

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Material Handler to work with a leading logistics company in Romeoville. This role is the backbone of warehouse operations, focusing on efficient inventory movement and order accuracy.

Shift patterns:

• 1st shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 6 am to 4:30 pm

Pay rates:

• 17.00 USD hourly

Essential requirements for Material Handler:

• Warehouse or material handling experience


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Desirable requirements for Material Handler:

• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or RF scanners


• Basic computer or inventory system knowledge


• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

Role for Material Handler:

• Locate and pull products from warehouse shelves using digital scanners


• Move raw materials or finished goods to storage areas and loading docks


• Inspect items for damage and verify SKU numbers for accuracy


• Securely pack items, apply shipping labels, and prepare documentation


• Unload trucks and assist with stocking shelves
