Forklift Operator - Edgerton
Intro
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics and supply chain provider in Edgerton. This role is based in a climate-controlled candy manufacturing facility, focusing on supporting production lines and material movement in a fast-paced environment.
Shift patterns
- Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00am
Pay rates
- 21.00 USD hourly
Must-have requirements for Forklift Operator
- Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience
- Ability to pass an on-site forklift certification assessment (no training provided)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active manufacturing environment
- Ability to work on the production line when necessary
- Commute time of 40 minutes or less
- Previous experience at this facility (if applicable, please specify agency and timeframe)
Desirable requirements for Forklift Operator
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or candy production
- Familiarity with line-based warehouse operations
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety standards
- Experience with reach trucks or Raymond equipment
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
Role for Forklift Operator
- Operate stand-up forklifts to transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Ensure timely delivery and removal of materials to prevent production downtime
- Load, unload, and stage products in designated warehouse areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Perform routine equipment checks and follow established operating procedures
