Pay Rates
- 18.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Production Operator Quality Control
- Foundational understanding of production technologies and processes
- Familiarity with quality measurement tools, such as calipers
- Ability to interpret and adhere to Standard Process Instructions
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of this position, including reaching items stored at heights up to 5 feet
- Must not be a rehire from the local automotive plant (BMW)
Skills and Requirements for Production Operator Quality Control
- Must be able to stand for the entirety of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Role Responsibilities for Production Operator Quality Control
- Conduct inspections and checks on parts, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products following established work instructions
- Perform precise gap and flushness evaluations and manage the loading and unloading of modules from storage racks
- Identify and escalate potential or actual non-conformities and deviations through the formal escalation protocol
- Segregate suspect or defective parts and initiate containment, corrective actions, and internal complaint procedures
- Support root cause analysis, warranty reviews, and general problem-solving initiatives
- Assist with SCM functions, third-party organizations, and aid in first-off/last-off testing
