At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with CRC in La Porte. This role involves operating a sit-down electric forklift to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse, ensuring all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines are followed.Shift Patterns
- Morning Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- 15.00 USD hourly
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
- Experience with a sit-down electric forklift (Toyota, 5,000 lb capacity)
- Safety First: Always adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
- Efficiency: Operate the forklift efficiently to move materials quickly and accurately
- Maintenance: Perform regular checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition
- Organization: Keep the warehouse or facility organized by placing materials in the correct locations
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and solve problems
- Reliability: Show up on time for shifts and be dependable in completing tasks
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products around the facility
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Stack and organize products in designated areas
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues
- Keep track of inventory and update records as needed
