Forklift operator - Blue Springs

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator to work with a leading company in the logistics and manufacturing sector in Blue Springs. This role is based in a climate-controlled candy manufacturing facility, where you will be responsible for supporting production and material movement in a fast-paced, line-based environment.


Shift patterns:

• Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00am

Pay rates:

• 22.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Forklift operator:

• Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience


• Must pass an internal forklift certification assessment (no training provided)


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active manufacturing environment


• Ability to work on the production line when needed


• Commute must not be longer than 40 minutes

Desirable requirements for Forklift operator:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or candy production environment


• Familiarity with line-based warehouse operations


• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or food safety standards


• Reach truck experience or familiarity with Raymond equipment is a plus


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Role for Forklift operator:

• Operate stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production lines


• Support line operations by ensuring timely delivery and removal of materials to prevent downtime


• Load, unload, stage, and store products in designated areas


• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and food handling standards


• Perform equipment checks and follow proper operating procedures
