Requirements
As a Forklift Operator SIV you will need to have:
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred (reach truck, stand-up, or EPJ)
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to be certified)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Forklift Operator SIV, it would be desirable to have:
- Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
- May involve working at heights (depending on equipment used)
- Use of PPE required (safety shoes, vest, etc.)
Role of a Forklift Operator SIV
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and order fulfillment as needed.
