At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Assembly Tech to work with a leading manufacturer of automated production systems in Auburn Hills. This role is essential for building high-quality systems for plastic injection molding machines.Shift Patterns
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with required overtime.
- Average of 45-50 hours per week.
- 23.00 - 23.50 USD hourly
- More than 1 year of mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions
- Ability to read measuring gauges such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, hex key wrenches, and torque wrenches
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
- Proven tenure in past roles of more than 1-2 years
- Assist in building systems for plastic injection molding machines
- Assemble tubular electric heaters and nozzle assemblies for manifold systems
- Hone and plug manifolds, perform wiring, and solder heating elements
- Use temperature controllers to ensure systems conform to blueprints
- Perform deburring, tapping, and die work using hand and air tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift
- Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing required PPE
