Batch Technician - New Albany
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Batch Technician to work with a leading manufacturer in the home fragrance industry in New Albany. This role is responsible for producing high-quality wax batches in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner while maintaining precise production and inventory records.
Shift Patterns
- Third shift: Sunday night to Friday morning, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Overtime as required to meet production demands
Pay Rates
- 21.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Batch Technician
- Recent manufacturing or production experience, specifically with mixing, batching, or material handling
- Proven ability to follow detailed instructions or formulas while ensuring high levels of accuracy
- Experience with documentation, inventory tracking, or data entry
- Ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Experience working in physically demanding manufacturing environments
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace
Role for Batch Technician
- Follow batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify, measure, and combine components in tanks
- Complete all necessary paperwork thoroughly to meet company and customer standard operating procedures
- Maintain accurate records of each drum to track fragrance and component usage for inventory control
- Monitor equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good condition and keep the work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with supervision to anticipate production needs and report potential inventory shortages
