Forklift Operator - Edgerton
Intro
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics company in Edgerton. This role is based in a climate-controlled candy manufacturing facility, focusing on supporting production and material movement in a fast-paced, line-based environment.
Shift Patterns
- Thursday and Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am to 7:00pm
Pay Rates
- 21.00 USD hourly
Must-have Requirements for Forklift Operator
- Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience (no training provided)
- Must pass an on-site internal forklift certification assessment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active manufacturing environment
- Commute time must be 40 minutes or less
- Ability to work on the production line when needed
- Previous experience at this facility or agency (if applicable)
Desirable Requirements for Forklift Operator
- Experience in food manufacturing or candy production
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or food safety standards
- Experience with reach trucks or Raymond equipment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
Role for Forklift Operator
- Operate stand-up forklifts to transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Support line operations by ensuring timely delivery and removal of materials to prevent downtime
- Load, unload, stage, and store products in designated warehouse areas
- Perform routine equipment checks and follow strict safety and food handling protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within a continuous production environment
