At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading company in the automotive manufacturing sector in Lake Orion. You will be working for the client in Lake Orion.

  1st Shift
  6:00am to 3:30pm

Pay rates

• 17.00 USD hourly

Requirements

Requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods, inventory control with previous Forklift experience
• Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
• Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
• Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
• Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary

Your role for Forklift Operator

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move inventory
• Load and unload shipments while maintaining accurate documentation of all goods received and sent
• Perform regular inventory checks and organize storage areas to optimize logistical supply chain flow
• Utilize pallet wrap machines and other warehouse tools to prepare products for secure transportation
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all established safety protocols and procedures
