Production Operator Quality Control - Greer



At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Production Operator Quality Control to work with a leading automotive components manufacturer in Greer. This role involves executing various production stages on an assembly line or within small teams. Duties are clearly defined and subject to close oversight, making the position suitable for those with minimal previous experience or specialized knowledge.


Shift patterns


  • Night Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:30am



Pay rates


  • 18.00 USD hourly



Must-have requirements for Production Operator Quality Control


  • Foundational understanding of production technologies and processes

  • Familiarity with quality measurement tools, such as calipers

  • Ability to interpret and adhere to Standard Process Instructions

  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of this position, including reaching items stored at heights up to 5 feet

  • Must not be a previous employee of the BMW Plant in Greer



Desirable requirements for Production Operator Quality Control


  • Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly



Role for Production Operator Quality Control


  • Conduct inspections and checks on parts, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products following established work instructions

  • Perform precise gap and flushness evaluations

  • Manage the loading and unloading of modules from storage racks

  • Identify and escalate potential or actual non-conformities and deviations through the formal escalation protocol

  • Support root cause analysis, warranty reviews, and general problem-solving initiatives

  • Coordinate and execute internal sorting for supplied components, sub-assemblies, and final goods

  • Segregate suspect or defective parts and initiate containment and corrective actions

  • Assist with supply chain management functions and third-party organization coordination

  • Aid in first-off/last-off testing and the return of inspected components to production lines
