Technician 1, Sanitation (2nd and 3rd Shift) - Winston-Salem

At Clara, we are recruiting for a Technician 1, Sanitation to work with a leading manufacturing company in Winston-Salem. This role is critical for executing various processing duties in accordance with batch records and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring the efficient and compliant production of high-quality manufactured goods. The technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining processing equipment, monitoring production parameters, and contributing to a safe and orderly work environment.


Shift Patterns

• 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.


• 3rd shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.


• Shift assignment will be determined based on operational needs and candidate preference.

Pay Rates

• 17.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Technician 1, Sanitation

• Proof of eligibility to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.


• Comfort working in an environment that handles powder, soy, dairy, wheat, peanuts, and gluten.


• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


• Minimum of 6 months of experience in sanitation or housekeeping.


• Valid driver's license with 2 or less moving violations.

Skills and Qualifications for Technician 1, Sanitation

• Ability to stand for an entire shift of 8 to 12 hours.


• Ability to lift 50 lbs.


• Ability to work safely around moving machine parts, heights, and cleaning chemicals.


• Willingness to follow strict gowning and de-gowning procedures.


• Willingness to adhere to strict GMP policies, including not wearing jewelry, makeup, perfume, or fake nails.


• Disclosure of any past or present convictions for background check purposes.
