Essential requirements for Shipping Associate
- Describe your experience preparing and verifying outbound shipments in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Explain your experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or other shipping equipment.
- Tell us about a time you found and corrected a shipping or inventory error before an order was sent out.
- Describe how you stay organized and manage priorities in a fast-paced shipping or production environment.
- Explain your experience working with automotive parts, shipping documentation, inventory systems, or warehouse software.
Key responsibilities for Shipping Associate
- Prepare and organize outbound shipments according to production schedules.
- Verify part numbers, labels, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and RF scanners safely.
- Package automotive products to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with regular cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safety protocols.
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Keep shipping and staging areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
