Requirements

Essential requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs when necessary
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and operate equipment throughout the shift
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Desirable requirements for Forklift Operator:

• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Ability to maintain productivity and safety standards consistently

Role for Forklift Operator

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
• Load and unload shipments from delivery vehicles and stack them in appropriate areas.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and productivity standards.
