About the role
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Inventory Control Clerk to work with a leading international company in New Albany. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting warehouse operations by ensuring proper procedures and quality standards are followed.
Shift patterns
- Monday through Friday
- 1st shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- 3rd shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay rates
- 20.00 USD hourly
Requirements for Inventory Control Clerk
- Stand-up forklift experience
- 1–2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance reporting
- Understanding of GDP and GMP standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Responsibilities for Inventory Control Clerk
- Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, including shortages and overages.
- Monitor expired and obsolete inventory using ERP systems.
- Assist with inventory analysis and reporting for Warehouse and Account Management teams.
- Conduct customer inventory reconciliations and annual inventory audits.
- Support general warehouse operations and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
