At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift operator to work with a leading company in the Logistics sector in New Albany. You will be working for the client in New Albany.
Shift Patterns
- Mon - Fri 7am - 3:45pm Forklift drivers must arrive 30 minutes before shift
Pay Rates
- 18.00 USD hourly
Requirements
As a Forklift operator you will need to have:
- Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods, inventory control with previous Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
As a Forklift operator, it would be desirable to have:
Role of a Forklift operator
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
