Manufacturing Technician - Greenwood

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to work with a leading company in the manufacturing sector in Greenwood. This role is part of a high-performing team responsible for maintaining production flow, meeting performance goals, and ensuring the high level of quality that customers expect. You will operate, monitor, and maintain equipment, while continuously recommending improvements to processes and standards.
Shift Patterns:

• Days Shift: 6:45am - 7:00pm
• 2 on; 2 off; 3 on
• Fixed day or night shift of 12 hours in a 2-2-3 shift system

Pay Rates:

• 20.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Manufacturing Technician:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing operation or production environment
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 90% of the shift
• Must be able to lift and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs., up to 10% of the work time
• Cannot have previously worked at ES Foundry
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred due to frequent communication with Spanish-speaking employees

Desirable Requirements for Manufacturing Technician:

• Able to read, speak, and understand English
• Strictly adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards and regulations without posing a threat to the safety of others
• Ability to operate and maintain automated equipment and computer systems
• Strong analytical ability to understand safety hazards and troubleshoot routine problems

Role for Manufacturing Technician:

• Perform effective shift exchanges with performance data and troubleshooting information
• Maintain Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures while ensuring accurate production data recording
• Execute autonomous maintenance tasks, changeovers, tool set-ups, and machine adjustments
• Collaborate with process, equipment, and maintenance engineers during evaluations and problem-solving
• Improve and maintain a clean work environment by following 5S housekeeping standards

Location: Greenwood. This position is based on-site.
