Security Officer - Uxbridge

Introduction
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Security Officer to work with a leading wholesale distribution center in Uxbridge. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our team, visitors, and facility assets.
Shift Patterns

• 3rd Shift 10:00pm to 6:00am

Pay Rates

• 19.00 - 21.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Ability to work in all areas of the warehouse as needed.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and outdoor environment, including heat, cold, rain, snow, noise, and dust.
• Ability to remain active for up to 8 hours per day, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to perform repetitive, dexterous movements related to computer use and data entry.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous security, warehouse, or distribution center experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the distribution center, trailer yard, and company property.
• Check in and check out trailers while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Conduct routine security patrols of the trailer yard and facility to identify safety concerns.
• Protect company assets by monitoring activity and enforcing security procedures.
• Communicate with warehouse leadership regarding security issues or incidents.
