At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Reach truck operator to work with a leading logistics company in Romeoville. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory is handled safely and accurately within the distribution center.


Shift patterns

• 1st shift: Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm

Pay rates

• 19.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Reach truck operator

• Previous reach truck operating experience (1 year minimum)


• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment


• Ability to work at elevated rack heights safely


• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and move throughout the shift


• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance


• Commute must not be longer than 40 minutes


• Confirmation of no previous employment at Geodis

Desirable requirements for Reach truck operator

• Cross-trained in multiple warehouse departments


• Reach truck certification


• Experience in high-volume distribution environments


• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners


• Flexibility to support overtime and varying schedules


• Strong teamwork and communication skills


• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Role tasks for Reach truck operator

• Operate reach truck equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and replenish inventory


• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory accurately


• Load and unload materials and transport products throughout the warehouse


• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns


• Maintain clean and organized work areas while following all safety procedures
