At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Picker/Packer to work with a leading logistics company in Elwood, IL. In this position, you will support light-industrial and logistics operations by accurately picking items, packing orders, and maintaining steady workflow targets.Shift Patterns
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 17.49 USD hourly
- Experience working in a warehouse and distribution work environment
- Must be 18 years of age or older with legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-to-10 hour shift
- Basic math, reading, and digital scanner skills
- Locate, select, and pick customer orders from warehouse racks using handheld RF scanners
- Inspect merchandise and securely package items into boxes or shipping containers
- Apply shipping tags and barcodes while stacking pallets for outbound freight
- Verify order accuracy against pick tickets and check for damaged goods
- Maintain a clean work zone and comply with safety regulations
- Weekly direct deposit and pay card options
