At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Receiving Freight & Compliance Inspector SIV to work with a leading retail company in Logan Township. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding quality control standards within the warehouse environment.Pay Rates
- 23.00 USD hourly
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, receiving, or quality inspection experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and compliance guidelines
- Good communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Inspect incoming freight for accuracy, damage, and compliance with company standards
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records
- Document discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damages and report findings promptly
- Ensure all received goods meet labeling, packaging, and compliance requirements
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to log and track inventory
- Communicate with receiving team, supervisors, and vendors regarding shipment issues
- Maintain organized and clean receiving and inspection areas
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Assist with unloading, staging, and directing freight as needed
- Support audits and compliance checks as required
