Forklift Driver - Sterling Heights

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift Driver to work with a leading company in the automotive manufacturing sector in Sterling Heights. You will be working for the client in Sterling Heights.

Shift patterns

• Shift:
  2nd Shift
  5:00pm to 3:30am
  Tuesday to Friday

Pay rates

• 18.30 USD hourly

Requirements

Requirements for Forklift Driver:

• Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods, inventory control with previous Forklift experience
• Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
• Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
• Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
• Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary

Responsibilities for Forklift Driver

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move inventory.
• Load and unload shipments while ensuring all products are handled according to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and stock checks.
• Organize the warehouse space to optimize logistical flow and supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and securing products using pallet wrap machines.
