Batch Technician - New Albany
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Batch Technician to work with a leading candle manufacturing company in New Albany. This role is essential for producing high-quality wax batches efficiently while maintaining precise production and inventory records to ensure our fill lines operate smoothly.
Shift Patterns
- First shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.
- Overtime as required to meet production demands.
Pay Rates
- 19.00 USD hourly
Must-have requirements for Batch Technician
- Recent manufacturing or production experience, specifically with mixing, batching, or material handling.
- Proven ability to follow detailed instructions or formulas with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience with documentation, inventory tracking, or data entry.
- Ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Experience working in physically demanding manufacturing environments.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Role for Batch Technician
- Follow batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify and measure components for each job.
- Complete thorough and accurate paperwork to meet company and customer standards.
- Combine components in tanks to produce and supply wax batches for fill lines.
- Maintain accurate records of drum usage, fragrance, and other components to ensure proper inventory control.
- Collaborate with supervision to review schedules and anticipate production needs.
- Maintain the condition of equipment and tools while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
