At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Maintenance Tech to work with BJ's Wholesale - Elkton in Elkton. You will be working for the client in Elkton.

Shift Patterns

• Shift:
• 1st Shift: 7:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Rates

• 22.00 USD hourly

Requirements

As a Maintenance Tech you will need to have:

• Ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely
• Understand and comply with safety management, EPA and OSHA policies, procedures, and programs
• Understand and use data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete proper and timely preventative maintenance, repairs, and record keeping as required
• Lift up to 50 lbs to 100 lbs
• Must be able to respond and perform physical demands of weather emergencies
• Must be able to work in confined space(s)
• Must be able to pass respirator fit test, wear respirator and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) if required

As a Maintenance Tech, it would be desirable to have:

• High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred
• Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the customer to include nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to wear and communicate through headsets for long periods of time as required by location

Role of a Maintenance Tech

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on all facility equipment and systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and inventory of parts.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
