Intro

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Operator / Line Lead / Process Lead to work with a leading company in the logistics and manufacturing sector in Elwood. You will be responsible for the daily performance and output of candy manufacturing lines, acting as a key bridge between floor associates and management to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.


Shift Patterns

• 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:45 pm to 7 am

Pay Rates

• 23.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• Proven leadership experience managing teams


• Experience operating or leading production machinery such as baggers, conveyors, wrappers, or scales


• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and adapt to changing production obstacles


• Must be local or reside within a 40-minute commute of Elwood

Desirable Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency


• Strong problem-solving mentality and team-oriented approach


• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience


• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment

Role

• Lead a team of 6 to 25 associates to ensure production targets are met


• Perform and document hourly quality audits regarding weight, appearance, and seal standards


• Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues or jams to minimize downtime


• Strategically assign associates to specific stations based on skill level and production needs
