At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Lead to work with a leading logistics and fulfillment company in Fort Worth. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of shift operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and standardized processing of outbound freight. You will lead frontline teams, manage labor allocation, and maintain operational compliance across sortation and yard activities while maintaining a strong floor presence.

- Sunday to Wednesday 5 PM-3:30 AM
Pay rates
- 20.00 USD hourly
Essential requirements for Warehouse Lead
- 1 year of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse, sortation, or logistics environment.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and coach teams, manage labor allocation in real time, and influence employee behavior on the floor.
- A strong track record of following strict standard operating procedures, auditing workflows, fixing operational bottlenecks, and coordinating with third-party carriers or drivers.
Desirable requirements for Warehouse Lead
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, yard management software, or labor tracking tools.
- Experience serving on a workplace safety committee or a proven track record of incident-free shift management.
- Ability to interpret basic operational metrics like packages processed per hour or trailer utilization rates to make data-driven staffing adjustments.
- The ability to stay calm, maintain a positive attitude, and make sound decisions under pressure when plans change rapidly.
- The capacity to listen to associate concerns and connect with team members from diverse backgrounds to build trust and morale.
Role for Warehouse Lead
- Oversee the end-to-end outbound flow, including package induction, sorting to containers, container routing, staging, and final dispatch.
- Execute real-time staffing adjustments to balance workflow, eliminate processing bottlenecks, and maintain consistent package throughput.
- Conduct routine yard walks to ensure trailer visibility, organization, and readiness while coordinating with drivers to resolve transport issues.
- Provide real-time coaching and feedback to hourly employees to improve individual and team performance.
- Maintain a strong floor presence to reinforce accountability, safety standards, and operational compliance.
